Our visit with my Uncle Loren and Aunt Delma was refreshing. The girls enjoyed being in a home and headed straight for the toys. We popped up our tent trailer right in their driveway and were treated to a ham dinner and pancakes for breakfast. I don’t get to see my relatives very often and it was great to catch up. Many of our girls had never met Uncle Loren and Aunt Delma before but warmed right up to them and enjoyed being tickled by Loren. He even held the baby for a quick minute but by the time I got my camera out she was ready to come back to mom.

This morning, they drove us out to the farm in Fleming where my mom was raised. It was purchased by her grandparents in 1928 and my uncle raised his family there as well. He and his wife sold it about 20 years ago. I had visited as a child, but was surprised to find that I didn’t really remember it when I saw it. The new owners have been doing some work to it.

Now we are on our way to Grand Island, NB. We have a four hour trip ahead of us and so far everyone is content and happy.
