Saturday afternoon we went to the Kansas City Toy and Miniature Museum with Aunt Sharon and Barb. A lot of the miniatures were based on real things and they had scales to measure how small they were compared to the real thing. Some of the most popular scales were 1/4"=1';1/2"=1';and 1"=1'. They were so detailed, from the picture on the wall to the tiny tea set on the table. One of my favorite things was a doll house that was about 8' tall it was made in the 1800's for a rich man's daughter. They also had a Barbie exhibit with just about every Barbie there is. I really enjoyed a small Star Wars exhibit with about 50 figures and some posters including a rare one that said Revenge of the Jedi which is what George Lucas intended to call the 6th movie until he realized Jedi wouldn't want revenge and changed it to return. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow us to take pictures in the museum but it was still a very fun place to visit!
Afterward we went to a burger place with slow service but very good fries!
