Day Two - On the Road Again

Here we are leaving Farewell Bend State Park in Huntington, Oregon. We arrived at 7:45 last night. Mom and Dad set up the tent trailer then we went to explore the river at the camp ground. After a few pics’ Mom cooked us some hot dogs on our stove while Dad started a fire for s’mores. We went to bed at 10:45 which seemed like 9:45 because we went through a time change. Now it’s 10:30 and we’re on our way to Salt Lake City to visit some relatives.

The drive yesterday was very long. Some of our favorite things to do in the car were: using the computer, playing games on or taking pictures with two V-tech cameras Mom recently purchased, and listening to audio books. We also enjoyed some great views and, were very glad to run around and climb trees at a rest stop and the camp ground.

On we go.

Great view!

  2. Great post, Michaela. We always argue when we are driving a long ways about such things as "How far do you think that next mountain is?" and "How many big trucks do you think we will pass between the next mile markers?" Sounds like you are having fun! Give everyone a hug for me! xoxoxox
