We've Arrived in Cincinnati!

There was much cheering in our car as we drove past the exit sign for the Creation Museum on our way into the Cincinnati area last night.  This is our easternmost destination, the instigator of our trip, and the halfway point of our vacation.  I think there was a feeling of accomplishment that we actually made it across country, especially for the children who have had to endure a lot of time in the car.

We are now staying in a two bedroom, two bathroom suite in the Homewood Suites by Hilton.  Being that this hotel accomodates large families at a reasonable price, we are enjoying meeting other families who are also here to visit the museum.  Last evening we unpacked the car, caught up on laundry and swam in the pool. 

I asked the girls if there was anything that has surprised them on the trip so far and Michaela's answer was, "I didn't realize how good a hotel bed would feel after spending two weeks in the tent trailer!"

We look forward to visiting the Creation Museum today.  This evening my cousin, Lisa, from Lexington will be driving up with her family to have dinner with us.
