The Creation Museum is awesome!!!
The Seven C’s exhibit was incredible. Just in case you’re wondering what the Seven C’s are they’re creation, corruption, catastrophe, confusion, Christ, cross, consummation. I thought the flood (a.k.a. catastrophe) was really cool. That exhibit had life sized models of Noah and his family. Hired hands were building the Ark with Noah’s sons.
There was a trivia game where you had to remember different things about the story of Noah’s Ark. There also were some puzzles (digital and regular) that you could do. It was really cool.
The kid’s things were really cool, too. We did this fossil thing where they talked about how fossils were formed and why they didn’t decay. They also showed us some really cool fossils and let us take some home with us. We also made shark’s tooth necklaces.
The petting zoo was neat. It had creatures like a tortoise, a wallaby, a weird raccoon like creature and a zorse (zebra and horse) and zedonk (zebra and donkey). You could feed them pellets of food that they sold. There was also a donkey, some goats, chickens, and that’s pretty much it.
The gardens they had there were really pretty.A Sea Lily Fossil

ReplyDeleteGreat story, Rebekah! I was wondering what the three C's stood for, so it was great that you listed them. I always like fossils too! Sounds like you are having a fun trip and learning stuff too! xoxoxoxoox
