Really, we are. We just pulled into Bliss, Idaho, to refuel.
I wish I could say that we are feeling blissful right now, but this is the second day of all day driving for us. These will be two of our longer days of driving as we want to get to Salt Lake to enjoy the weekend with family (Ron's brother and my sister both live there). Our stops have been less frequent today so we are making better time and the girls seem to be handling the driving better. That's a good sign!
Yesterday we spent the entire day driving in rain. We were in the car for 10 hours (but only accomplished six hours of distance - we stopped a lot!). I was dreading setting up camp just to hunker down in our tent trailer. However, just 20 minutes prior to arrival the Lord blessed us with sunshine! We were so thankful and our first night went fairly well (as Michaela shared in her previous post). Today the sun is shining which makes for a much more pleasant drive...that and less fighting going on in the back seat.

thanks so much for sending me this link! i'm excited to hear about your progress. dave and i have been throwing around the extended road trip idea (possibly for next summer), so i can't wait to see how yours goes!
